Located in Cumming, GA, the Cumming City Center Parking Garage is part of a 75-arce mixed-use development created to reclaim Cumming’s small-town “Americana” vibe while integrating present-day technology and timeless architectural design from the 1950s.
The new city center development has become a focal point for concerts, events, restaurants, breweries, and retail. In response to this growth, a four-level, 500-space precast concrete parking garage was constructed to provide free public parking for visitors to the city center.
Metromont’s Hiram, GA, manufacturing facility produced 148,537 SF of precast concrete for this project. The Cumming City Center Parking Garage showcases a gray concrete exposed finish and Cherokee Old Tallahassee cast-in thin brick and corner brick around the two stairwells.
These two finishes help the structure match the neighboring buildings and blend in with the timeless design schemes.
