Located in the growing area of uptown Charlotte, the JW Marriott is a 21-story luxury hotel that encompasses 330,000 SF and includes 381 guest rooms and 14,000 SF of meeting space. The hotel also offers an amenity terrace with pool, pool bar, and fitness center. Originally intended to feature insulated metal panels for the exterior façade, Metromont proposed an alternative design-build solution comprised of architectural precast concrete cladding that cut project costs and schedule. Metromont’s Greenville team produced a total of 67,201 SF (281 pieces) of architectural precast cladding with acid-etched finish for the project.
